John Hutton International is an independent design firm that specializes in product design for the world’s luxury furniture market. The company was founded in 1998 by American design icon John Hutton and his longtime collaborator, Joe Doyle. 

Continuing the legacy of John Hutton, Joe Doyle has been a partner with Sutherland for many years.  A clear heir to the Hutton aesthetic but with his own perspective, Doyle’s design formula is simple: “Make it interesting, make it smart, and never forget what it is for.”
